A tour of 10 days in one of the most attractive and exciting for all of Northern Europe, is no coincidence that National Geographic has established that the Lofoten archipelago can be considered one of the three most beautiful in the world. With guide / escort from Italy, in small groups, to move around the site using minibuses to allow us to reach almost any location, even the most hidden and less crowded. Pleasant stroll along the famous "rorbu" suspended in several villages near the sea, some easy hiking and lots of "midnight sun". With some step by ferry, where the Norwegians have not yet built bridges or tunnels to link the different islands. A nature "over the top", the thrills, with memorable sights that remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to admire them.
Ten days devoted to the nature, traditions and history of these islands, once a land of fishermen, distant lands, most of the year isolated from the rest of the world today is highly suited to tourism.
day by day itinerary
Day 1 Depart from London for flight to Bodo (via Oslo). Arrival in the afternoon, transfer to hotel accommodation and free time. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 2 Breakfast. Starting in the early morning transfer by minibus to the archipelago of Vesterålen. During the transfer (about 6 hours), you will have the opportunity to make several stops to take pictures, drink some coffee and visit towns and villages. Upon arrival, accommodation and dinner.
Day 3 Breakfast. Transfer to Andenes, visit the town, located on the tip of the island and boat trips Andoya (optional, not included in the fee) for the sighting of whales - that in these deep waters are an abundance of their favorite food, the squid - the killer whales, and other species of cetaceans. Day 10 - In the early morning transfer to airport and flight to Milan. Arrival at mid-day.
